Earned a degree in Law & Political Science from the University of Tehran in 1956
Studied art at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome during the 1950s
Held his first exhibition in Tehran in 1956

Exhibited internationally in Paris, Tehran, Madrid, New York, and Tokyo
Notable shows include the Paris Biennial (1959), Tehran Biennial (1962), and a joint exhibition with Salvador Dalí in Madrid (1977)
Currently lives and works in Reston, Virginia, USA
