Early Life and Background

  • Born in Borujerd, Iran, in 1962

  • Studied painting at Tehran’s Faculty of Fine Arts and earned an M.A. from Islamic Azad University

  • Completed doctoral studies in philosophy of art at the University of Birmingham, UK

  • Joined the faculty at Sooreh University and later led the Visual Arts Center of the Hozeh Honari Institute from 2009

  • Directed several national cultural research institutes related to Islamic culture and art

  • Authored over 100 scholarly articles on art theory between 1997 and 2001
